In Memorium: Dr. Stephen H. Webb (March 13th, 1961--March 5, 2016)

Introduction by Derrick Peterson

Yesterday in a meeting at the New Wine office, we received a text from one of our associates with the incredibly unexpected and sad news that our friend Dr. Stephen Webb had passed away.

In honor of his memory we would like to make available an interview he did with our Director, Dr. Paul Louis Metzger regarding Dr. Webb's book Mormon Christianity

One does not need to agree with all of Dr. Webb's positions to admire his gracious and ecumenical spirit.  "All good theology is biography," he says.  "Theology should reflect a spiritual journey and be informed by spiritual goals."

Yesterday the next adventure of Dr. Webb's spiritual journey began.  May he rest in the Lord's peace.

"May the road rise up to greet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rain fall soft on your fields. Until we meet again, may God hold you in His palm."
