Moving from Fraternity to Family in the Multi-Ethnic Church Movement - An Audio Presentation by Dr. Paul Louis Metzger

Intro by Derrick Peterson

What is the church? Too often we see it as a voluntary association of individuals little different from a club or a gym. But is this the proper way of looking at things? It gets even more complicated when talking about cultures and ethnicity within the church. We all tend to associate with people like us, thus reinforcing boundary lines that should be overcome in the body of Christ. Like it says in Galatians 3:28:

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Dr. Paul Louis Metzger addresses this and other issues in a lecture based on his presentation at the Mosaix 2016 conference. He thereby helps us understand how it might be possible to move from "fraternity to family."
